TEKNOLOGY - Today, Saturday (04/12/2016), marks the anniversary of Dewi Sartika to-132. Women born in Bandung in 1884 is one of the National Hero of Indonesia.
Google also helped celebrate the anniversary of Dewi Sartika by displaying a special doodle on the search engine pages. Doodle showed an adult female and six little girl in kebaya.
The woman was none other than the figure of Dewi Sartika who was teaching basic educational material on six of his students. On the chalkboard, engraved the words "Google" were scrawled in white chalk.
Just like Raden Ajeng Kartini, Dewi Sartika known for his contribution to fighting for women's rights, particularly in education. He founded the first girls' school named "Sakola Wife" in Bandung in 1904 ago.
In 1914 or ten years later, the school was more popular and renamed "The virtue Sakola Wife". Not only in Bandung, the school expanded to all cities and counties in West Java.
To commemorate the school age-25 in 1929, its name was again changed to "Raden Sakola Goddess". Now, women can get an education on par with men thanks to the initiative Dewi Sartika reinforced the movement of Raden Ajeng Kartini.
